Virginia grew up in Kellogg and has always found many connections to the area. She graduated from Kellogg High School in 1953 and the University of Idaho in 1957. She passed on October 11, 2024 at age 89 in Hayden, Idaho.
We are most grateful for her keeping her home town and the Museum in her thoughts.

Lois Dahlberg has left the Museum a portion of her estate and many good memories of herself and late husband Dr. Keith Dahlberg’s friendship and service to the community and this museum. She and Keith came to Kellogg in 1967 after serving as medical missionaries in Burma and Thailand. Keith established a medical practice and Lois served as a school nurse for several years as well as helping with many charitable and community service organizations.
Lois volunteered at the Museum and Keith did several book signings of the books he authored, many of which grace the shelves of our Gift Shop.
Lois passed on January 14 of 2025 at age 92. The Dahlberg home has been across the street from the Museum since they made Kellogg their home base. While we appreciate the monetary gift, the greatest gift was having she and Kieth as neighbors.
